Gaurav Mishra is an experienced IP attorney and Associate Partner at BananaIP Counsels. A registered patent, design, and trademark attorney, he is qualified to represent clients before the Indian IP Office across subject matters. With dual degrees in biotechnology engineering and law, and a postgraduate qualification in intellectual property law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, Gaurav brings a unique blend of scientific and legal expertise to his practice.
He handles the drafting, filing, and prosecution of patent, design, and trademark applications before Indian and international IP offices. His practice includes oppositions, advisory on IP strategy, and long-term portfolio development. Gaurav plays an instrumental role in managing BananaIP’s international IP practice and has built strategic collaborations with attorneys across jurisdictions including the US, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
He has advised corporates, research institutions, start-ups, and individual innovators on diverse IP issues ranging from filings and oppositions to valuation and IP commercialisation.
