- Total patent applications this week: 1,759 (Early publications: 925, Ordinary publications: 834)
- Patent examination decreased by 26%, standing at 174.
- Patent grants saw an increase of 55% with 1,179 applications
Breakdown by City – Early Publications:
- Delhi: increased by 1323% (13 to 185)
- Mumbai: increased by 30% (83 to 108)
- Chennai: increased by 121% (270 to 598)
- Kolkata: increased by 161% (13 to 34)
Ordinary Publications by City:
- Delhi: 29% rise (185 to 240)
- Mumbai: 187% increase (65 to 187)
- Chennai: 90% increase (180 to 342)
- Kolkata: rose by 225% (20 to 65)
First Examination Report (FER) Distribution:
- Delhi: 69
- Mumbai: 40
- Chennai: 49
- Kolkata: 16
Publications Under Grant by City:
- Delhi witnessed a 46% increase (294 to 432)
- Mumbai saw an increase of 52% (167 to 254)
- Chennai observed a rise of 76% (221 to 390)
- Kolkata reported an increase of 32% (78 to 103)
